  • Have been to Moscow many times, but not to this hotel. What a joy to discover the friendliest staff and a super yummy breakfast. Besides that the beds were comfy, the wi-fi is fast and cheap.
It's really a "no-frills" place; modern and simple. I got a good night's sleep, a great meal in a relaxing atmosphere. In an expensive city like Moscow this is a value-for-money hotel. Tip: try the Alex Bar burger (so good) have a drink in the library on the eighth floor and get suntan in the solarium, I got free fresh carrot juice with my token when I was there in April.

  • I stayed here for three nights in August and found it to be really pleasant. The rooms were a decent size, with a mini bar (albeit very expensive) and a good shower. The staff in the hotel were very helpful, registering our stay immediately (and supplying us with an invite before arrival for the visa) so we were ok to go out with our passports almost as soon as we arrived. The breakfast is excellent too. The weather was very warm when we were there but the aircon was good, and there is a lovely view of the monastery on the other side of the river from the end of each corridor.
