This hotel has apartments with kitchens and they are appropriate for those staying in Moscow for a while. They say that foreigners prefer the 5th and 6th floor. I saw a lot of apartments here. Number 505 was my favorite with a good kitchen that had lots of cabinet and counter space, plus a separate kitchen eating area, a living room, bedroom and bathroom. It is like a home.
Security is good. The metro is about a 10 minute walk. The area is dull and a bit ugly with just apartment buildings in sight and an old church up the road. An entertainment and shopping center is 2 bus stops up the road. The hotel belongs to the government of Moscow. Each apartment is different. In room 601 I didn't like the bedspread because it was so feminine!
They can register your visa, but they cannot issue the invitation. Parking is available for 70 rubles per day. They are eager to have guests!
